Overview
SBCUSD strives to maintain students’ physical and emotional well-being. However, when students face physical and emotional challenges, the district is there to offer support and services and frequently partners with community groups and organizations as well as outside contractors.

Resources—District
Resources at the site and district level include nurses, school counselors, family resource workers and a number of other site and district staff. Each school site has one or more counselors to assist students and families and each of the district’s six comprehensive high schools has a Family Engagement Center, with trained staff who can connect parents and students with a variety of site and community resources.
