School District Knows that Transforming Health Can Transform Lives

Transforming Health to Transform Lives is a free event for parents to raise awareness of the importance of health in education and life.

The San Bernardino City Unified School District (SBCUSD) HIV Prevention Education Office is holding a free parent health conference on Wednesday, May 29, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Double Tree Hotel on Hospitality Lane.

Transforming Health to Transform Lives is designed to give parents the tools to help their children live healthier lives, which increases the possibilities children will be more successful students and happier adults. The breakout session topics include mental health, growth and development, family health, environmental health, and more. The conference will also cover school-provided counseling, psychological and sociological services.

Parents may register for the free event through Eventbrite. Registration ends May 22. Space is limited. Call the HIV Prevention Education Office at (909) 880-6716 for more information. This is an adult-only event. Spanish interpretation will be provided.
