School Bulletin

Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors are not allowed to leave campus for lunch. Only seniors with 175 credits and no F’s and a 2.5 G.P.A.

 

Clubs/Meetings:

Students: Are you interested in world travel? The SBHS travel Club is preparing a trip to Italy and Greece in March 2012. Some of the sites we will be visiting include Vatican City, the Sistine Chapel, the Colosseum, Pompeii, visiting  Mediterranean  Beaches, the Parthenon in Athens and taking a cruise to several Greek islands in addition to others during our 13 day travel window.  We will be trying great foods like Gelato, eating fresh pastas, seeing great Italian Art and making new friends along the way. If interested please see Mrs. Bunn  in room U-7 after school for more information. We will also be having a parent meeting directly after Back to School Night on August 26th in room U-7 to go over more details. Hope to see you there! Ciao!

Extra Help:

 

The attendance office is recruiting for office workers. If you’re a Senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, and are interested, please see your counselor.

 

Earn more elective credits and make up missing classes at the same time. Come to 7th period Nova Net B-203.  You can graduate on time with Nova Net if you are now far behind in credits. Come to B-203 today to be added to the 7th period Nova Net class.

 

SPORTS

Baseball Tryouts: Come Tryout on Wednesday August 25th; Meet on the Varsity baseball field;

Bring all necessary equipment. (glove, cleats, hat, etc). Tryouts will be from 2:45 until 5:00.

If you have further questions see coach Doty in RM B-100.

Etc:

Congratulations to the following students:  Destiny Sanchez has been elected to the School Site Council, and Marisol Sanchez and Rashanna Vance as alternates.  They will join Jeffrey Torres and Pierre Morris as student representatives on the SSC.
