What is the Parent/Student Portal? 
  • It is a program that gives parents and students secure access to student information via the internet.

What information can I see in the Parent/Student Portal? 
  • The portal allows parents and students access to attendance data, assignments, class schedules, course requests, grades, and unofficial transcripts. 

What is necessary to access the Parent Portal? 
  • You need access to a computer with an internet connection.
  • You need an email account.
  • You need to fill out the Parent Portal Letter and return it to the school office.  They are available in English and Spanish.
  • You need a label that your student's school office provides with information on it that allows you to create an account.
  • You need instructions on how to create an account. They are available in English and Spanish.

What is necessary to access the Student Portal?
 
  • You need access to a computer with an internet connection.
  • You need an email account.  If you are under 13 years old you need Parent/Guardian Authorization in order to create an email account.  They are available in English and Spanish.
  • You need a label that your school's office provides with information on it that allows you to create an account.
  • You need instructions on how to create an account. They are available in English and Spanish.

How do I login after I have created an account?
  • Parent instruction sheets with login instructions are available in English and Spanish.
  • Student instruction sheets with login instructions are available in English and Spanish.

Where do I go for help? 
  • Call your school's office and ask for help with the ABI Portal.
  •  Frequently Asked Questions are available in English and Spanish.

Where can I access the internet for free?
  • The SBCUSD Family Resource Center has 5 computer stations with internet access. They are open from 8am to 4pm on weekdays and are located at 1525 W. Highland Avenue. They can be reached at (909) 880-4057.
  • Each of the San Bernardino City Library branches have computers with internet access that San Bernardino residents with a library card are welcome to use for free. A photo ID is required to obtain a free library card.

How do I create a free email account?
  • Gmail is an email account that is available at no cost.
