 Computer Networking    Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA®)

There are four levels of instruction to prepare students for the CCENT and/or CCNA Certification.  Classroom and laboratory instruction include networking fundamentals, working at a home, Small-to-Medium, Large Business or ISP, security issues, troubleshooting, and wireless networks. San Bernardino High School is a local Cisco Networking Academy.

 
   
  • Curriculum and Prerequisites:
    • The Cisco Academy Curriculum, years 1 and 2, is an online training solution that delivers highly effective, synchronous instruction to students
      • Prerequisites:
        • Cisco Academy 1 A: None
        • Cisco Academy 1B: 1A
        • Cisco Academy 2A: 1A/B
        • Cisco Academy 2B: 1A/B, 2A

     Teacher: LaMont Carroll, San Bernardino High School
    Mr. Carroll joins Career Technical Education after working in industry for 13 years. He has his a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance/Computer Information systems  and a Master in Career Technical Education.. Mr. Carroll has been a teacher at San Bernardino High School for 10 years.  In addition to Cisco Networking, he also teaches Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
